VALUE PROPOSITION

Now is right time for a structure like this, both as far as nft acting more soberly and finding its place in the artworld where it can be even more positively disruptive and aesthetic quality as well as curator and collector integrity maintained over complete financialization – aka “flipping”, using art as just a money making scheme.
From my recent market validation research I’ve seen that the artworld (a 68B industry) is struggling to find what to do in this technology driven environment.
Timing is also right timing as nature of exhibitions will have to change as more people will be at home and in personal viewing spaces. This membership structure could be good. For artists, a low maintenance way to adopt/adapt to NFT sales.

AOTV ROM DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVES:

FOR CORPORATE & PUBLIC ART CURATORS

  • ARTONTV is a way to have rotating artworks for business campusese and not have to committ to one large purchase or many smaller ones

  •  giving businesses a way to a lot of display  without the risk of damaging works in art handling, on viewing devices they likely already have

FOR ARTISTS

  • bringing their work to a larger audience, 46M prospective viewers on ROKU alone

  • providing a venue for artists to sell their works as Non-Fungible Tokens (NFT‘s) where they get royalties on any resale of their work, for the life of the work and they become more liquid and secure through blockchain – tokens can be minted for both physical and digital works

  • providing other revenue streams, charging subscriptions, selling merchandise from the channel, linked to their respective online stores

FOR GALLERISTS

  • providing other revenue streams, charging subscriptions, selling merchandise from the channel, linked to their respective online stores

  • giving them another way to sell their works and take advantage of the benefits of NFT sales for art sellers – provenance tracking, risk avoidance (ie: money laundering, forgery)

FOR VIEWERS

  • providing access to see world class art on a regular basis

  • giving them opportunity to become new collectors and have real assets that the financial industry recognizes as valuable and stable holdings

MULTIVENDOR ASPECT

  • Helping artists and leading international art galleries that are already selling millions of dollars of work reach a new audience
Each artist or gallery can have their own storefront but that will be rolled out later as there are a lot of details/moving parts to that. I’m thinking about a co-op structure where all participating artists get paid off the channel itself.
NOTE: The pricing tiers you see on the site are the higher end ones, omitted is the base Viewer pkg’d be $2.99-9.99/mo once we have enough content to be competitive and to charge these prices.

REVENUE STREAMS (in-channel)

Artists/Gallerists Options for Monetizing models for Roku Channels (4):
1) Each artist/producer/gallerists gets equity in the overall channel when we start to offer it through subscription
2) Each producer is able to charge a subscription fee of their choosing for their individual show on Art on TV
3) Each producer can sell merchandise from their subchannels by linking from the channel to their online store
4) Both the channel overall and the individual producers subchannels/shows can contain/ be embedded with advertisements.
The channel overall will not have ads at first if at all but potentially announcements of upcoming real world exhibitions and more of advertising partnerships.
This channel is currently available on Roku as Art Collection TV and is one of only a handful of visual art streaming channels. With a market share of 41% totalling 46M viewers, Roku leads the tv streaming field with Fire TV at 36% and Apple TV 10% following (nearly 100M streaming viewers across all three platforms!). Note: Roku is mostly NAmerican just entered the UK market in 2020.

VALUATION
Attached is the valuation research on the fair market value of my work as well as my peers. This is good to get a feel for the price points in this tier of the art industry. Also attache in this link  is a fair market evaluation of my phsyical works, prints, illuminated prints/lightboxes, for which NFT’s (aka art tokens) will also be sold.
Equity is not being offered in the collection itself but rather any sales of works from the collection through ARTONTV Channel go towards an investor’s ROI and additionally the value on the blockchain can be leveraged through Security Token Offerings in markets where digital currencies are most utilized and investor confidence already high.
I mention the value of the collection here because it can be leveraged to raise additional funds
A NEXT STEP:
I’ve been in contact with Gina Miller in Atlanta at Bennett Thrasher about valuation of both the newest fabricated versions of the lightboxes. Getting appraisals on everything – 1) the smartphone app, 2) independent appraisal one individual physical work of each type in the collection, paper prints, film prints, framed televisions – might be the best next step.
Her price is $5K to get started which research shows is base level for her wealth management work, I an send her Agreement Letter referring to our initial project which changed a bit.  She may be someone to talk to as she’s familiar with my development with everything, has verified my methodology for calculated value. Because of this I’d like to continue working with her.

Autonomous Prism

Collection

a curated selection of 9K works from a total collection consiting of 249,000 works created by algorithm from one single source video over 10 years.

As mentioed most of the collection will be tied up in family trusts and leveraged to charitable giving for vulnerable populations and institutions.

I am including here as 57 works from the collection (approx 14 per season) will be transfered by the holding company to ARTONTV and various gallery representation and stockists internationally like my UK representation 50Golborne Gallery in London to be an additioanl source of fundraising for the company.
